The enthusiasm for aviation technology is representative of an old human dream, that of flying. This dream is almost as old as human history itself and was developed into practical applicability by well-known thinkers such as Leonardo da Vinci .

The model sketches of his flying machines and their technical expansion and testing were further developed to perfection, not least by daring aviation pioneers such as the American entrepreneur and film producer Howard Robard Hughes Junior. Based on his pioneering work, we at UGEARS® Mechanical models have developed the 3D puzzle “Aviator” to do justice to these beginnings of the art of flight.

With a total of 726 components that have to be carefully removed when punched into a wooden plate, the UGEARS® Aviator kit consists of 3 technical modules in the form of an airplane, a helicopter and a control tower. The recyclable wooden products are presented true to scale in a steampunk style with a semi-open design, which follows the art movement of retro-futurism. This means that not only can the mechanics be tracked down to the smallest gear, but it can also be controlled separately using controllers. The Aviator models are technical masterpieces and flight propulsion details.
