The brand manufacturer UGEARS® offers its model building-loving target audience a very special highlight with the “ Research Ship ” model kit. The wooden structure, consisting of a total of 575 individual wooden parts, is an artistic custom-made piece that revives the times of great discoveries. Conquering the North or South Arctic Circle, the African continent or South American latitudes would not have been possible without further technical development.

The ship designed by UGEARS® in the steampunk style is a homage to the explorers and pioneers whose spirit of research is reflected in this ship model. The retro-futuristic design of the ship's hull was equipped with a few extras, including a slewing crane and a drop ramp . The clear depiction of technical movement modes can be tracked precisely and therefore has a learning character. Of course, a research trip should not be without a lifeboat , additional motorboat or a bathyscaph to discover the deep sea. Almost all models from the brand manufacturer have switching and turning devices that operate the movement control manually. For this purpose, a rubber motor is used, which is also used in the present research ship. This still life is therefore an enrichment for every model building enthusiast, researcher and art-loving explorer.
