Product description

The counter registers repetitive actions. It is an integral part of a device called an "odometer". The model has three cylindrical wheels with numbers from 0 to 9 and Maltese cross gears. This combination allows you to observe an interesting mechanical property: namely, how the lifting movement of the click button with the drive mechanism transitions into the rotational movement of the cylindrical wheels with numbers. The meter offers two options for data collection: click button and a rotary handle. Pressing the button or turning the handle moves the counter one place. When the counter passes 9, the Maltese cross gear catches the next register cylinder and adds it to the counter. Overall, the three-digit display can register counter values ​​from 1 to 999. You can open the front panel of the meter and reset it manually. Try counting steps on the way home. Or how many people you meet on a walk through the park. How about counting the number of blue cars that drive past your house in an hour? Count stairs: at home, at school or at a friend's house.
